Here is an extremely rare very early vintage original autographed 8″ by 10″ photo of child star and actor Dick Winslow, from 1930, from the 1930 film version of Tom Sawyer, in which he played the character Hoe Harper. Made more rare by the inscription, which includes two drawings by Winslow. Dick Winslow’s parents were Winonian Breazeala (a writer) and Sidney R. Graduated from Belmont High School in Los Angeles, and first appeared in films when he was five years old. Appeared in the play “Silver Thread” at the Egan Theatre in Los Angeles, and in “The Emperor’s Clothes” at the Belmont Theatre in Los Angeles. He played the pipe organ, piano, marimba, bag pipes, accordion, drums, saxophone and other wind instruments. Had appeared in 75 films by 1934. Played the piano on a champagne tour by plane from Los Angeles to Las Vegas featuring Dick Winslow on the Sky Piano. He made more than 650 flights.
